SAD to report the death of well known bowls enthusiast John Harvey at the age of 80.<\/p>\n
Although a long-term medical condition restricted his appearances on the green in latter years, he was an avid supporter of local bowls events, along with wife Jenny, also a member of the Peterborough & District club.<\/p>\n
He was also noted for the number of sets of bowls he had acquired, and many local bowlers have benefited from his collection over the years.<\/p>\n
The funeral takes place at Peterborough Crematorium on Wednesday, March 11th at 10.30am.<\/p>\n
