FOURTH DEFEAT FOR ADAMS TEAM

THE NBF Adams Trophy team closed their playing season with a 153-175 defeat away to Norfolk at Great Plumstead.

It was a fourth defeat in five matches for Ray Keating’s team, but the sixth and final match at home to Hunts, scheduled for next Saturday (July 6), will not be played owing to it being a ‘dead rubber’, so the points are shared.

There were rinks wins in Norfolk for John Earl and Kevin Vinter and a draw for county president Martyn Dolby.
