Donald Steward opener switched to Barnack

Northants women were due to play North Essex in the inter-county Donald Steward competition on Wednesday, June 12) but the match has been postponed because of a waterlogged Ketton green.

It has been re-arranged for Wednesday July 17, bringing forward a proposed ‘Strawberry Tea’ event in support of charity and club funds to Tuesday, July 16.

On Wednesday, June 19 the Donald Steward team were again due to play at Ketton against Norfolk but torrential rain has continued to rule the green unfit.

However, Barnack has stepped in to offer their green to complete the fixture.

The Silver Vase team are due to play their Norfolk counterparts at City of Peterborough (both 1pm starts).
