AFTER a two-year absence owing to the pandemic, the John Dickenson Memorial match returns on Saturday, May 7 when Whittlesey Manor, his first club when he moved to the area, host a Northants Bowling Federation select team.
John was a much respected bowls administrator and Federation stalwart, having held the positions of EBF president and chairman, as well as holding several offices within the county, including that of president.
The inter-county matches get under way on Saturday, June 4, with a full programme of fixtures for the first time since 2019. Adams Trophy home matches are being held at Parkway, with the Newton fixtures at Whittlesey Manor.

Carters).
