FRED BROWNING FUNERAL
THE funeral service for well-known Yaxley bowler Fred Browning will take place at the Peterborough Crematorium on Wednesday, August 10 at 1.30pm, with a wake being held at the Farmers Arms, Yaxley. His widow, Kathy, has requested that all bowlers attending the service wear their bowls club shirts.
WEST WARD WIN ADAMS
WEST Ward claimed the Northants Bowling Federation’s Adams Cup following their 65-54 victory over Peterborough & District at Parkway. It mean that Peterborough & Districts were beaten finalists for the second year running.
