Parkway bowlers have missed out on the chance to represent Northants Bowling Federation in next month’s Durham Centenary Trophy final at Skegness.
They were beaten 98-72 at home by defending champions White Hart BC! Warboys in the final of the southern section on Sunday.
Rinks were shared at two apiece, but the Hunts bowlers, who raced into an early advantage, were never seriously threatened in the 25-end decider. The successful Parkway rinks of Mike Robertson and Simon Law only got the better of their opponents over the last few ends.
