PARKWAY will represent the county in next year’s Durham Centenary Trophy after winning the Dan Duffy team championship for the sixth time in ten years.
They defeated Yaxley 90-64 in the final played at Whittlesey Manor, winning on all four rinks, although the margin on three of them was relatively close – six shots, three shots and two shots.
Before the match a minute’s silence was held as a mark of respect following the sad passing earlier in the day of well-known Yaxley stalwart Fred Browning.
